Our 34 rooms are comfortable and decorated with nice colours. All rooms have a double bed or two seperate beds, toilet, shower and/or bath, telephone, high speed internet connection and LCD television. The Herengracht is located in the centre of Amsterdam.
Because we value the opinion of our guests we have recently replaced our carpet for a brand new one.

Edam (at 9.2km) - Less than 20 kilometres from Amsterdam, you will find our cosy three-star hotel in the old centre of the picturesque Zuiderzee town of Edam. The hotel is lodged in five characteristic North Holland houses with a beautiful garden in the middle on the water's edge. The restaurant offers you a good international kitchen. Many famous sights are just a stone's throw from Edam. There are excellent public-transport connections with Amsterdam and other famous places of interest. You are very welcome!!!
Edam is a town with a rich history which goes all the way back to the 12th Century. And that's clearly visible if you take a walk along the many picturesque canals, little streets, alleys, bridges and gables. The Edam Museum, Kaaswaag, Great Church and the Speeltoren have a lot to tell you. Furthermore, Edam has a thriving centre with various attractive shops and nice outdoor cafes. Edam is above all known for its spherical cheese. Every Wednesday in July and August, an original, folkloristic cheese market is held starting at 10.30.
The rooms have comfortable, pine furniture and pleasant box-spring beds with very high-quality mattresses. Beautiful hand-made patchwork bedspreads adorn the beds.
Furthermore, in every room you have the facilities to make yourself a nice cup of tea or coffee. And there is a folder for you to look through with all kinds of interesting information.
Most of the rooms look out over the stylish garden or the water of “‘t Boerenverdriet”. In summer you can sit in the garden and enjoy the flowers, the singing birds or the pleasure boats drifting past. Or you can stroll through peaceful Edam or go shopping in the centre of town near by. And if you'd like to explore the surroundings a bit more, you can also rent a bicycle.
