The hotel is situated close to the historic, artistic and shopping area of Burgos.

In the surrounding area there are many promenades to stroll along and soak up the atmosphere of Burgos, such as the paseo del Espolón, the paseo de la Isla with many attractions and monuments to see like the Arcos de Castilfalé and the roman gateway to the Cerezo de Rio Tirón Temple and the Cerro Castillo park.

An interesting city that remembers its past heroes, such as Fernán González, the Count that founded the county and ‘El Cid’, with a street named after him in which runs alongside the hotel and forms part of the pilgrimage route ‘Camino de Santiago’. Just a few metres from here you find the Arco de San Martin and three stone pillars that mark the site of the Solar del Cid, the ancestral home of his family and where D. Rodrigo Diaz de Virar a Castilian nobleman, then military and political leader once resided.

There are many other attractions to keep you occupied during your stay the most impressive of which is the Cathedral, a world heritage site with stunning gothic architecture, many other churches and the Castle.
