Due to its peaceful location on a south-facing slope 180 metres above the Tegernsee Lake, this bed and breakfast hotel provides picturesque accommodation.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains from the breakfast terrace. There is a spacious garden area and ideal conditions for hiking and cycling in the surrounding area.

All guest rooms have south-facing balconies or a terrace.

The Tegernsee lake valley offers a diverse array of sport and leisure activities all year around. Hikers and Nordic walking fans can look forward to trails right outside the door, such as the Neureuth trail (1 hour). Further well-marked hiking tracks lead right into the Tegernsee Mountains to destinations such as Enterrottach, the Suttengebiet area, or over the Mountains Hausberg and Wallburg, where you will also find a mountain cable car.

For golf fans, there are 2 lovely 18-hole golf courses, a 6-hole course as well as a driving range only 5 minutes distance from the hotel. Up to 30 minutes away by car you will find a further 8 golf courses.

In summertime the lake is ideal for bathing, sailing, rowing, wind-surfing and pedalo boating. Or you can take a pleasant boat trip around the lake. Visit the sauna right on the idyllic banks of the lake, and also the water park, the Badepark Bad Wiessee.

Winter sports are very popular in the region. There are 30 pistes and ca. 150 km of cross country slopes between Gmund and Kreuth. 2 slopes are flood-lit for night-time skiing, and the 6.5 km-long toboggan run is one of the longest in Germany.

Culture vultures have a wealth of activities to choose from. In the surrounding area you will find traditional country theatres, churches, palaces as well as concerts and exhibitions.

The hotel is also an ideal location for meetings and seminars in green and natural surroundings as well as weddings and all sorts of family celebrations.

Centuries ago this building was a historical monksĀ“ farmyard.

Rooms are decorated in an Alpine style with light, natural woods and sunny fabrics and patterns.
