We are a 3-star-hotel with 14 double rooms and a suite with whirlpool in the heart of Monschau. The house is over 400 years old and has an old vault as restaurant, as well as a wine cellar for approx. 60 persons.

Monschau has many interesting attractions and activities to offer.
You can go hiking, swimming or riding within the breathtaking landscape.
The nature park Nordeifel fascinates its visitors throughout all the seasons with impressive pristine natural surroundings.

The famous Red House is located only a few metres from the hotel. The region is also well known due to the white water race courses that take place every year as well as due to the longest summer toboggan run in Germany.

The hotel is located on Kirchstraße 33 in one of the oldest buildings of the city
Monschau. It is the first middle-class house that was rebuilt after the Geldrische war when the city was destroyed in 1543. It was built in 1597 by Christoph von Rolshausen and his second wife Catharina von Palant. Both families belong to the ancient nobility of the Rhine region.



Each room is a unique jewel, equipped with a bathroom and all common facilities.
