  Gaast - Our small-scaled apartment complex consists of three apartments that are behind and beside the former church at the "IJsselmeerdijkje” (IJsselmeer dike) so you can enjoy the beautiful sunset at the Ijsselmeer.
  
  All of our apartments have their own character and have good beds, quilts and bedlinen. Each apartment also has tv and a cd-, and dvd-player. The apartments have central heating. There is also a free WiFi-connection available in the apartments.
  
  The apartments Zeezicht and De Consistorie are suitable for families that don’t like crowded vacation resorts. There is a beautiful beach for kids in Makkum. It’s possible to have, for a small fee, one pet (max.) in the apartments De Consistorie and Morgenstond.
  
  Staying in one of our apartments? It’s also possible to use our canoo and barbecue. With our canoo, max. 3 persons, you can visit Makkum or Workum by water. Tip: pay a visit to the Jopie Huisman museum located in Workum.

  The Saljoet was a few years ago at an oil rig in the North Sea. Equipped with a powerful marine engine, a sprinkler system and its own oxygen supply. 28 people were on an emergency safe haven find them. Two enterprising Frisians, bought the rescue capsule in 2008 and brought it from Amsterdam to Friesland. The capsule is stripped completely and after that, tastefully redesigned . Result: a unique, floating, super-luxurious one-suite hotel. Peace and quiet assured !
  
  The name is derived from the Russian Sajoet space. In the 70 years various space stations were built that have that name. They were particularly noted for their super-simple construction. Building The rescue capsule is built in 1972 by Whitaker firm in California and has long served on an oil platform in the North Sea. The conversion is performed by Piet Blaauw Ship Carpentry and Interior in Stavoren.
  
  On board both the original blueprints and photos of growing are there to admire! If desired, use the excellent facilities of the adjacent camp (www.campingdefinne.nl).
