The Groves
York - On a quiet tree-lined grove, the 4-star The Groves is a 10-minute stroll from York city centre and offers free parking, en suite rooms, Wi-Fi and bar/lounge facilities.
The building dates back to the 1900s and The Groves still has some charming original features, such as a splendid staircase and patterned windows.
The bar is generally open until 23:00 each day. Relax and read the daily newspapers, with a selection of beers and wines available.

All room keys have a front door key, so once checked in, access is 24 hours. 3 rooms have large showers and one room has a cast iron freestanding roll top bath.
