  Newton Abbot - In a sleepy hamlet, this thatched farmhouse is only 5 minutes from the A38 (Cornwall) and A380 (Torquay) and therefore within easy reach of Exeter, Torbay and Plymouth.
  
  Older than Shakespeare and set in its own grounds, Sampson’s provides a welcome change from the usual anonymous motels, and corporate guests always appreciate the difference. Owned by the Bell family for over 35 years, Sampson’s provides the perfect retreat in which to relax and unwind, with inglenook fireplaces and log fires in the winter.
  
  Breakfast is served in the farmhouse dining room. Free range hens provide the eggs, and the choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, full English cooked breakfast, toast and homemade marmalade should send you off ready for anything.
  
  Meandering through the meadows, the River Teign makes a beautiful setting for walks just down the lane. Guests can also enjoy scenic, easy river walks along the Teign while at Sampson's.
  
  Sampsons Farm Hotel lies in a sleepy hamlet, only 5 minutes off the A38 (Cornwall) and A380 (Torquay) and therefore within easy reach of Exeter (20 minutes), Torbay (20 minutes) and Plymouth (40 minutes).
