Moorpark House Hotel



Kilbirnie - Moorpark House is a grand and welcoming country-house hotel in secluded grounds a 30-minute drive from Glasgow. It was built in 1860 and underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment.
The renovated hotel has beautiful grounds and attractive interiors. Some special features include a hand-painted ceiling in the drawing room; a stairway with stained-glass windows; an imposing entrance hall; and a dining room with conservatory.
All the luxurious rooms overlook the croquet lawn and have free internet access, satellite TV, a DVD player and a CD player. Each room is individually designed.
Burn's Cottage - Birth place of Scotland's national poet Robert Burns. Nearby is a centre which is dedicated to his works.
Blairquhan Castle - A lived-in castle home to Mr Hunter-Blair. Arrangements can be made for small groups to go for morning coffee and view the castle and the wonderful gardens and grounds.
Culzean Castle - A magnificent castle built high on the cliffs beside the sea. The grounds are breathtaking even in winter.
