Elvey Farm

Pluckley (at 8.9km) - Elvey Farm is a medieval farmstead in a magical setting, tucked away in 75 acres of Kentish countryside.
Elvey Farm was built in 1406, and not much has changed since. It is positioned at the end of a long, winding lane, with breathtaking views over the fields and hills in all directions.
The perfect rural retreat, you can stay in stylish suites in the 16th century stable block and dine in the beautiful restaurant specialising in Kentish dishes. Most rooms have their own private entrances. Watch the sun set over the fields from the terrace before retiring to your own private living room, or enjoy a soak in your own slipper bath.
Elvey Farm is just outside Pluckley, home to ITV's Darling Buds of May. It's easy to see why the TV series chose this village as its location; wherever you look, there are charming cottages, Oast houses, orchards and fields. Pluckley is surrounded by pretty villages, with old-fashioned pubs and ancient village greens. However, you're not cut off here - you're just half an hour from Dover and the Channel Tunnel, just over an hour from London, and close to Canterbury, Tenterden and the Thanet coast.
Elvey Farm is no ordinary farm. It has been renovated to the highest standards, with stylish contemporary bathrooms, gorgeous rooms packed with period features, and service that's second to none.
Spend the day exploring the bridleways and footpaths over the fields, stopping off in one of the many villages for a pub lunch. Then watch the sun set from the terrace with a glass of champagne, before dining in the restaurant. The restaurant is in the 16th century barn, and specialises in Kentish cuisine.
There's something magical about Elvey Farm: it's charming, it's welcoming, and you're guaranteed a relaxing stay.
The stable block has 5 beautifully appointed suites. Each suite has its own entrance, and stunning views over the paddock and lawns. Most rooms have living rooms with a sofa, TV and DVD player. All rooms have contemporary bathrooms.
There is also the 16th century barn with beautiful, charming rooms with low-hanging beams and period features.
