Historically, this area is noted for its important characters, such as Guy Faulks (next door), Shakespeare (Stratford) and Winston Churchill (Blenhiem). There are many stately homes and tranquil estates to visit, including the lovely Cotswolds.
It is within easy reach of Stratford-upon-Avon, where you will find spectacular Christmas lights, festive craft fairs, street entertainment and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Coughton Court, an impressive stately home, hosts various music and theatre events. Warwick Castle, the Cotswolds and the Birmingham N.E.C are also quickly and easily accessible.
