An old carefully restored traditional mansion house in the unique setting in the historical centre of the stunning medieval Pyrenees town of Ainsa.

The hotel has 6 light ample rooms that have been created using wood, stone and alabaster making a comfortable, elegant base to use while discovering the Pyrenees and all its splendour.

Ainsa is located between the National Park of Ordesa and the Naturals Parks of Posets-Maladeta and Sierra de Guara. An ideal location for outdoor pursuits!


Ainsa is the capital of the region Sobarbe and has been declared as ‘National Heritage’. In an excellent location nestled between France, the National Parks Ordesa, Monte Perdido and Sierra de Guara and the Banasque Valley.

The ‘old centre’ of the town is stunning with its clusters of stone houses that blend it perfectly with the surroundings, the tower ‘La Colegiata’ and the large castle and its grounds (almost as bit as the town itself).

You will discover some of the most beautiful landscapes in Southern Europe in the surroundings of the hotel where a whole array of outdoor pursuit such as abseiling, mountain biking, caves and walking along the ‘Romantic Routes’, Ordesa park, lost mountain, Añisclo canyon, Pineta, BBT routes, geologic routes, viewpoints of lakes, cliffs and precipicies.

The hotel has a wine cellar built in the 12th century, where the hotel currently sells local and regional wines and delicatessen products.

The rooms, as all other areas of the hotel, have an interesting interior design that combines classic decoration with contemporary art work by a well known artist, Melissa Sadie.

All are exterior-facing rooms, some with views onto the Plaza Mayor and other of Monte Perdido.
